Historical Background

About Secondary School

The establishment of Burhani Secondary School was inspired by the vision of Busaheba, Sayyedatul Fadhela Zohratussharaf Baisaheba, who encouraged the committee to begin the Secondary school even in modest conditions, with faith that the path forward would emerge. Starting with a Form 1 class in 2017, the school has since grown to include all four O Level classes (Forms 1 to 4). In July 2021, it achieved another milestone with the introduction of A Level education (Forms V and VI), further solidifying its reputation for academic excellence.

Modern Computer Lab & Digital Learning
In January 2024, our school proudly launched a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, furnished with 35 brand-new computers and a dedicated server. This major upgrade has enabled the smooth integration of Information and Computer Studies (ICS) into the curriculum for Form II, Form IV, and Form VI students.

Expanding Academic Pathways in A-Level
Our commitment to academic excellence extends beyond infrastructure. With the establishment of the computer lab, we have also enriched A-Level learning by introducing new subject combinations that reflect the evolving demands of higher education and the global workplace. These include:

  • BuAcCs – Business, Accountancy, and Computer Science
  • BuAcM – Business, Accountancy, and Mathematics
  • PMC – Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science

These thoughtfully structured combinations offer students greater flexibility to pursue their aspirations, paving the way for further studies and careers in fields such as business, finance, engineering, data science, computing, and advanced technology.

Driving the School Vision Forward All these initiatives strongly reinforce our school’s vision—to empower students with knowledge, skills, and practical tools that foster innovation, independent thinking, and lifelong learning. By blending modern facilities with relevant academic choices, we ensure our learners are well-positioned to excel in a rapidly advancing digital era and contribute meaningfully to the future.

Together, these facilities help students build curiosity, develop essential academic and digital skills, and move forward with confidence—ready for further studies and future careers.

Our goal is simple: to shape learners who are prepared for the future and able to make a positive impact on the world.
