Earth Day 2021: Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year. The day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. It is also recognised as the largest civic event in the world. Earth Day challenges us to take seriously our job as caretakers of our natural environment. It inspires us to think of more than just our own sustenance – to act on behalf of this planet we share and all its inhabitants.

Earth Day 2021 was celebrated with much zeal and enthusiasm at Burhani Primary School. We conducted a quiz program between the pupils from 4 classes, which were named as Avengers,Warriors. Strikers and Sluggers. The show was awesome, pupils excitement was very contagious. The show was won by the Warriors of STD 5 N . These kind of competitions helps pupils to develop their creativity and their skill sets. It also boosts their self-esteem, motivates them to become better and makes them mentally strong.
