78th MILAD PROCESSION

On the auspicious occasion of the 78th Milad Mubarak of Dai al Ajal Syedna Aliqadr Mufaddal Saifuddin Moula tus, a celebratory procession was conducted with utmost pomp and flair commencing from town mosque to Ngamiani, street no 4 mosque.

Syedna Muffadal tus is the spiritual leader and 53rd Dai al Mutlaq of two million Dawoodi Bohras of Islam. He is the son of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin r.a., whom he succeeded in 2014, a Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University and revered Founder of Burhani schools.

Burhani students were part of the vibrant entourage which included a musical band; marching troop of cubs and scouts; children dressed as social helpers, led by two boys on beautiful horses and the community gents in their pristine white attire and head gear; teachers of Burhani school; on a vehicle, a portrayal of 'health is wealth' with exercise machines like treadmill and a nature themed float of Burhani pupils dressed in animal costumes like squirrel, crocodile, birds etc. Dense green trees gave an aura of African forests whose tranquility and beauty is much admired by His Holiness Syedna Muffadal tus.
The amount of rest and rejuvenation drawn from the blissful greenery and ambience is therapy in itself.

Nature is an antidote to stress, time spent in nature elevates mood, induces calmness, positivity and be in greater harmony with our world at large.

Regarding nature theme on our float, our school's message was loud and clear: What we save, saves us. The single biggest threat to our planet is the destruction of habitat and along the way loss of precious wildlife. We need to reach a balance where people, habitat and wildlife can co-exist - if we don't, everyone loses...one day.
Older students walked, sashes of 'Milad Mubarak' worn with pride, expressing heartfelt appreciation and jubilation.

The banner on one of the float expressed, 'Focus is productivity.'
The words remind us that, "you get what you focus on, so focus on what you want."
Productivity doesn't happen by chance. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.
We at Burhani, strive to be productive at all times. The youth of today aim to turn into excellent citizens to serve our country in a better and rewarding way.

Birthday Felicitations were proferred, the air filled with joyous festivity.

The children were served with refreshments at the end.

Parents are continuously lauded for their untiring support and cooperation throughout the year.
Due to their regular presence, commitment and interaction with their children and teachers, they are serving to be consistent and evolving role models for their children, par excellence, to be precise.
