GRADUATION DAY 16TH OCTOBER 2022.
Burhani
School celebrated its Graduation Day with unprecedented fanfare on 16th
October 2022 at Regal Naivera Hall as the venue of this year’s event.
The Graduation
ceremony was carried out magnificently for KG3, STD VII & FORM IV Students.
All three campuses came together to set the stage for unveiling the journey and
what we aspire to achieve in the years to come.
The chief
guest was the district commissioner of Tanga. Mr. Hashim Shaibu Mgandilwa. The presence of Honorable board
members, Trustees of Anjumane Burhani and Tanga Bohra Society, as well as parents
added sheen to the entire program.
The program
began with the Recitation of Quran and the National Anthem.
The welcome
speech was delivered by the school principal Mr. Samy which was soon followed by the grand welcome song by the students
of foundation 2. Job Day and Little Red Hen Act performed by foundation 1 &
2 students will remain etched in the memory of parents as well as the audience.
Their energy and confidence were quite evident and noticed by one and all.
The two
Anchors of the program Divine Charles
from Std VI and Umaima Anjari from
Std V were incredible. They mesmerized the audience with their outstanding
oratory.
The Primary
school students had presented the spectacular act of ‘Rainbow Fish’ in English
and ‘Save Water’ in Kiswahili, The mass drill performed by the boys of Std V &
VI was evidently the best. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to discover
faculties of singing, oration and acting that so many of our talented students
possess.
The girls of
secondary school recited a melodious Shairi in Kiswahili and the boys performed
an hilarious mime on the ‘Mobile Addiction’. Even the chief guest was amused
and didn’t refrain from commenting on it.
The Graduating
students were awarded certificates by the Chief Guest and other distinguished Guests
including the Board Members. Students of STD VII and Form IV were also awarded
special certificates to mark individual student’s achievement in respective
subject or field.
Honorable Board members Mr. Mustafa Zavery
delivered a heart-warming vote of thanks extending his gratitude to each and
everyone.
The District
commissioner’s inspiring words motivated entire school community. He also
appreciated the students for their excellent performance and good discipline. Mr.Mustafa
Zavery presented a memento of Honor to the District Commissioner on behalf of
Burhani School .
The
bedazzling and magnificent spectacle left the audiences spell bound and craving
for more. It was a live show that enthralled all.
